Grand mass of microcredit in Tangier
The National Micro-entrepreneur Prize is back for a third edition to pay tribute to the women and men who have succeeded, thanks to microcredit, in improving their income and living conditions.
To this end, and after Skhirat and Casablanca, the choice fell this year on the Pearl of the North to host this third prize, the launch of whose activities will take place on Tuesday, 9 December, at the Maison de la Presse. This annual event, dubbed “Micro-entrepreneur Days,” reinforces the role of proximity advocated by the Mohammed VI Centre for Solidarity Microfinance Support. “This third national prize will henceforth be part of a five-day travelling programme honouring microcredit beneficiaries,” indicates a press release issued recently.Initiated jointly by the Mohammed VI Centre for Solidarity Microfinance Support and the National Federation of Microcredit Associations, this third edition plans to cover an area of 600 m2.
