A medical caravan is being organised, starting this Thursday, in the rural commune of Sidi Âddi located in the Azrou region. At the initiative of a group of 5 students from the "BBA Emlyon-Casablanca" Higher School of Commerce and Management, in partnership with the Casablanca Association for Development and Social Qualification, this socio-medical caravan will continue until Saturday, 23 April. Thus, for three days, a staff of 15 doctors, of all specialties combined, will provide the local population with various medical services (auscultation, ultrasound, electrocardiogram, etc.), the organisers indicate. "We plan to reach some 2,000 patients who will benefit from consultations with prescriptions and the provision of medicines, free of charge," explains Sanaa Hatim, one of the students involved and in charge of press relations for this operation.
It should be noted, in this regard, that pharmaceutical laboratories have responded to this call of the heart launched by the students and have donated considerable quantities of medicines. Furthermore, this caravan is part of a mission project for which the 5 students were solicited by their school. The latter opted for the implementation of a social project based on volunteering, by taking the Association for Development and Social Qualification as a partner.
