The communal council of Sidi Allal El Bahraoui (Khemisset province), meeting last Thursday in an ordinary session for the month of February, unanimously adopted its 2016-2021 Communal Action Plan. This programme is broken down into several areas relating essentially to the urban development of the city, the improvement of communal public services, and cultural, social, and sporting activities.
This action plan also aims to strengthen the city's attractiveness and improve the living environment through a global approach integrating sectoral, economic, and social dimensions, indicated the President of the city's Communal Council, Jamal El Ouardi, on this occasion. He added that this project aims to develop the local economy through, in particular, the implementation of a project to build a commercial complex, the redevelopment of city centre cafés and restaurants, and the creation of an artisanal quarter to group together the city's artisans.
Furthermore, this project aspires to encourage small and medium-sized enterprises and cooperatives to create projects capable of offering job opportunities to young job seekers, he noted, specifying that a vocational training centre is currently under construction.
