Rabat – Belgium praised, Wednesday in Rabat, the Royal Initiative aiming to facilitate access for Sahel countries to the Atlantic Ocean as well as the process of African Atlantic States.
“Belgium praised the efforts deployed by Morocco through the multiple initiatives launched under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, to promote peace, stability and socio-economic development in Africa, notably the Royal Initiative to facilitate access for Sahel countries to the Atlantic Ocean and the process of African Atlantic States”, it is underlined in a joint communiqué published following a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, and his Belgian counterpart, Bernard Quintin.
In this context, Belgium also praised the role of Morocco as a vital and reliable partner and as a key player for the strengthening of regional stability and cooperation, adds the joint communiqué.
