Rabat – The General Directorate of Meteorology reported that snowfall is expected on heights exceeding 1,800 m (from 10 to 40 cm), and strong wind gusts with dust storms (from 70 to 85 km/h) on Saturday and Sunday in several regions of the Kingdom.
The Directorate explained, in an "orange" level weather alert bulletin, that snowfall ranging between 10 and 40 cm will affect the prefectures and provinces of Azilal, Al Haouz, Tinghir, Midelt, Ouarzazate, and Taroudant, from 10:00 a.m. on Saturday until noon tomorrow, Sunday.
The Directorate also indicated that strong wind gusts with dust storms (from 70 to 85 km/h) are expected tomorrow, Sunday, in the prefectures and provinces of Sidi Ifni, Guelmim, Agadir-Ida-Outanane, Chtouka-Ait Baha, Inezgane-Ait Melloul, Tiznit, Al Haouz, Taroudant, and Tan-Tan.
