Some 180 bicycles were distributed recently in the province of Nouaceur for the benefit of underprivileged schoolchildren and students living in remote rural or peri-urban areas. This operation, launched during a ceremony presided over by the governor of the province, Lahbil El Khatib, in the presence notably of local elected officials, representatives of civil society, and local authorities, is part of the programme to support schooling and reduce the school dropout rate in this region.
