A ceremony to present the best employer awards in Morocco 2011 will be held next Monday in Casablanca to reward companies offering the best working environment.

Placed under the aegis of the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training and the CGEM, the list of the best employers in Morocco 2011 aims to recognise companies that know how to attract and retain the best employees.

Launched at the beginning of 2011, this first edition of the MEM awards aims to reward the 3 best companies in Morocco based on the level of engagement of their employees by highlighting the effectiveness of their human resources and human capital practices.

The study was conducted among participating companies, of all sizes (25 employees or more with an office in Morocco), by giving the floor to employees, who determine who the best employers of the year are.

For each participating company, more than 60% of employees were invited to answer a questionnaire concerning their perception of the company culture, working conditions, HR management, professional development, remuneration and professional recognition.

The opinion of employees is the most important element in this survey, which is supplemented by an evaluation submitted to the HR department, describing its concrete practices.
