A fire broke out on Monday evening in a fast-food restaurant in Jemaa El Fna square in Marrakech, without causing any casualties, we learned from local authorities.

The fire was caused by a short circuit due to the massive use of electrical appliances in this commercial premises and the rise in temperatures, the same sources added.

The fire has been completely brought under control, local authorities reassure.
