Water and renewable energies under debate

The first edition of the Doctoral Students' Day in Water Sciences and Renewable Energies took place last Tuesday in Marrakech, at the initiative of the National Centre for Studies and Research on Water and Energy (CNEREE) of Cadi Ayyad University (UCAM). This scientific meeting, placed under the theme "Applied research at the service of development", was the occasion for about forty doctoral students on internship at the CNEREE to present the progress of their research work, to compare their experiences and knowledge, and to benefit from scientific supplementation on two research poles of the centre which are water and energy.

In addition to oral and poster communications, testimonials from certain laureates who benefited from both scientific equipment and pedagogical supervision from CNEREE researchers also furnished the programme of this conclave which was structured into sessions and workshops. This event is intended to be the extension of a series of activities initiated by the CNEREE within the framework of its 2015-2016 action plan, noted the director of the Centre, Prof. Laila Mandi, laureate in 2015 of the prestigious Islamic Development Bank Prize rewarding her great and rich contribution to exceptional research and development projects linked notably to the management and preservation of water resources.
