Marrakech hosts the World Congress of Aesthetic Surgery

Marrakech hosts the World Congress of Aesthetic Surgery

The third edition of the "Marrakech World Esthetic Congress" (MWAC), an international event placed under the High Patronage of H.M. King Mohammed VI, will be held on 31 October and 1 November in the ochre city. This Congress, organised as part of continuous postgraduate training, is a new unmissable event for all professionals in regenerative medicine and aesthetic plastic surgery, indicate the organisers of the event. "The primary objective of this congress is to provide our Moroccan and international colleagues with quality theoretical and practical teaching, in order to maintain and reaffirm the level of excellence of plastic-regenerative surgery and aesthetic medicine in Morocco," it is specified from the same source. This meeting, the first to offer relevant beauty teaching courses through artistic concepts, is also a space for sharing experiences on cutting-edge scientific subjects to bring knowledge and techniques to participants in preview. This international congress for the advancement of aesthetic plastic surgery and cosmetic dermatology will present "live injections and 3D videos of anatomical demonstrations, focusing on tools and techniques for combined treatments, cellular and regenerative therapies, as well as a wide panel of workshops," according to the organisers. The third edition of the MWAC, which will bring together many specialists and experts, is intended to exceed the results of its two previous editions and reach new heights of excellence. Since its first edition in 2012, the MWAC has grown from the idea of a day of knowledge on the correlation between artistic concepts of beauty and 3D anatomical dissection to a high-level scientific event, of exchange of knowledge and skills within a friendly communion. According to the organisers, this new congress concept has even seduced the renowned Barts School of Medicine of the Queen Mary University of London, the establishment thus designating the MWAC as a clinical day recognised in the curriculum of its residents both for their master's degree in aesthetic plastic surgery and for the postgraduate certificate in aesthetic medicine. The Barts School has committed to having all its residents participate in the 2014 edition. The 2013 edition was a real success, bringing together 500 participants from 15 different countries.
