Medical caravans for the rural world
As part of the activities of the Provincial Delegation of the Ministry of Health for the Sidi Slimane province, two specialised medical caravans were recently organised for the benefit of the populations of the rural communes of Amer Chamalia and Kcébia. More than 2,000 people were able to benefit from the medical and paramedical services provided by doctors and nurses during the two operations. The various services included specialised consultations, notably in general medicine, paediatrics, pneumo-phthisiology, cardiology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, and gynaecology. During the caravan tour, the population also benefited from various biological analyses and others in the fields of smoking cessation, maternal and child health, healthy lifestyles, etc., in addition to the distribution of medication to all those examined who required medical treatment.
