A modern slaughterhouse in Settat and the completion of the rehabilitation of the weekly Souk and the slaughterhouse in the Keissar Commune

A broad meeting was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, between Mr. Ahmed El Bouari, Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, and the brothers Othman Tarmounia, Parliamentary Advisor and member of the Executive Committee of the Istiqlal Party, Mr. Rabie Abou El Fadl, member of the Istiqlal team in the Casablanca-Settat region, Ms. Nadia Fadmi, President of the Settat Commune, and Youssef Sayel, President of the Keissar Commune.

A group of projects concerning the Settat province were discussed, which aim to improve infrastructure and services in the province. At the conclusion of this meeting, an important partnership agreement was signed between the Ministry, the Casablanca-Settat region, and the Settat Commune to establish a modern slaughterhouse in the city of Settat, with a total amount of 40 million dirhams, distributed as follows:

23 million dirhams contribution from the Ministry, 12 million dirhams contribution from the Casablanca-Settat region, 5 million dirhams contribution from the Settat Commune. The meeting also addressed the project to complete the rehabilitation of the weekly Souk and the slaughterhouse in the Keissar Commune, a project that highlights the importance of participatory work between elected officials, ministries, and various regions.

In the coming days, God willing, a group of meetings will be held with ministerial sectors, the Casablanca-Settat region, and the territorial communes in the province, based on the outcomes of the session of the Provincial Council of the party in Settat, which was held under the supervision of the envoy of the Executive Committee, brother Othman Tarmounia, who pledged to advocate for the province at the central level with the ministerial sectors.
