The Fes Festival of World Sacred Music will celebrate its 20th anniversary on Friday, 13 June 2014. With such an achievement, this unmissable festival is now one of the greatest cultural events in the world. Placed under the high patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, this edition has not deviated from the rule and continues to attract visitors from all over and the most beautiful voices of the Arab and international artistic scene. Always faithful to its founding principles and its reputation as a place for bringing peoples together and promoting the values of tolerance, understanding and the mixing of cultures, the Sacred Music Festival never ceases to accumulate successes. The 20th edition of the Fes Festival of World Sacred Music, scheduled from 13 to 21 June 2014, under the theme "Conference of the Birds: when cultures travel", will celebrate this year "20 years of musical, spiritual and artistic travel through the cultures and traditions of the world which have gradually revealed themselves in their depth during a concert, an exhibition, a film or even a conference", as highlighted by the Director General of the Esprit de Fes Foundation, Faouzi Skalli. Like the previous editions, "this live show is a multicultural musical encounter, an original composition, mixing traditional songs and dances, theatrical discourse, the art of cinema, choreography and poetry in order to illustrate a cultural journey", concludes Mr. Skalli.
