Between international competitions, equestrian shows, interactive workshops... the public was able to discover equestrian and choreographic shows where emotion, magic and dreams mingled.
The eighth edition of the El Jadida Horse Show closed on Sunday 18 October on a positive note. Visitors, professionals and the various actors in the national equine sector experienced six days of programming that highlights traditional equestrian arts and Moroccan horse trades. The participation of national and foreign professionals confirmed the international character of the event. The United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, France, Spain, Hungary… and of course Portugal, guest of honour of this edition, were worthily represented in El Jadida. It must be said that the Horse Show has made international cooperation a major axis of development.
This edition wanted to give a new lease of life to this event which has earned its stripes, through activities likely to accentuate the supervision of breeders and to make them aware of the latest equine breeding techniques. "It's the third time I've visited the El Jadida Horse Show. The event reserves pleasant surprises for us every time. My children love discovering the space reserved for ponies and the equestrian shows. This year again, the visit took place in good conditions thanks to the professionalism of the organisers," says a young mother who is visiting the Horse Show accompanied by her three children. Indeed, visitors as well as participants were impressed by the quality of the programming and the organisation of this great event. Between tournaments, international competitions, equestrian shows, Tbourida of the Sorbas from different regions, interactive workshops and presentation of horses of different breeds, the public was able to discover equestrian and choreographic shows where emotion, magic and dreams mingled.
Young and old were amazed by the show of the French troupe of Lorenzo. Standing on his 12 horses, jumping obstacles, Lorenzo, the flying rider, unveiled with his elegance the magic of balance and the trust that reigns between man and the horse. Another highlight of this edition, the show of the Marrakech School of Equestrian Art which offered the public intense moments thanks to exceptional numbers inspired by the country's equestrian art. Spanish riders presented shows full of beauty with their Menorcan breed horses. The teams of the Royal Armed Forces and the General Directorate of National Security also provided high-level shows combining technicality, precision and a lot of talent. And of course the "Charanga" of Lisbon represented all the grace and know-how of the Portuguese riders. Organised by the Horse Show Association under the theme "The horse: arts and trades", this event was distinguished by a rich programme that gives pride of place to national and international competitions of superior quality, to artistic exhibitions as diverse as they are varied, among other cultural and scientific activities, aimed at the promotion of the equine sector and the preservation of national equestrian heritage.
