The Supervision and Control Committee of the Regional Agency for Project Execution (AREP) of the Casablanca-Settat region held an extraordinary session, at the region's headquarters, chaired by Abdellatif Maazouz, President of the Casablanca-Settat Regional Council, and in the presence of Mohamed Mhidia, Wali of the region, and the members of the committee, the director, and the agency's staff.
This extraordinary session was held before the ordinary session of February in order to include a new set of projects approved by the Regional Council during the October 2024 session and to give a strong push to the pace of implementation and facilitate the realization of projects on the ground.

At the beginning of this meeting, Mustapha Omrani, Director of the Regional Agency for Project Execution of the Casablanca-Settat region, presented a detailed presentation on the progress and completion rate of some structural projects as well as new projects proposed to be assigned to the agency. The Director also addressed before the members of the Supervision and Control Committee the projects concerning the connection to electricity for a group of Douars in the rural area within the framework of the region's programming.
At the conclusion of the work of this extraordinary session, the President of the Casablanca-Settat Regional Council emphasized the necessity of concerted efforts in order to implement the Regional Development Programme 2022-2027.
