Two women were recently arrested by elements of the judicial police of the Hay Hassani-Aïn Chok district in Casablanca for drug trafficking, a police source learned.
The same source specified that the first woman, aged twenty, was caught in Hay Hassani while she was selling a small quantity of hashish.
Subjected to interrogation, she confessed to working for another woman who was in charge of the old Medina region in the economic capital.
The latter was neutralised. She is a fifty-three-year-old woman, a repeat offender, mother of a young man who is currently serving a prison sentence also for drug trafficking, added the same police source.
At her home, investigators seized three slabs of hashish with a total quantity of three hundred grams. Following her son's advice, she obtained drugs from a few suppliers who were the subject of national search warrants, added the same police source. The two women were brought before the correctional chamber at the court of first instance in Casablanca.
