An idyllic retreat on Moroccos Atlantic coast, La Sultana Oualidia overlooks a glorious blue lagoon surrounded by gardens of swaying palms with a dramatically stunning spa, fabulously fresh seafood and refreshing pools.
Every room has a terrace where you can enjoy breakfast overlooking the water. The walls and ceilings are finished in traditional tadelakt and the furnishings are hand-painted in summer colours with a hint of rusticity that gives the whole place a relaxed, seaside feel.
Take a Turkish bath and swim in the pillared, indoor pool with a roof that opens to the sky. Watch the pink flamingos along the lagoon. Oualidia is one of the richest wild bird habitats in Morocco with migrating avocets, storks and egrets which visit in the spring and autumn.
