Events touching on several fields of culture are taking place in the city of Sidi Bennour, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, which allows for the organisation of this type of event. Generally, the programmes are held in various public spaces which mix, in turn, readings of verses from the Quran, recitations of sacred chants which are translated notably by the Madih Annabaoui, spiritual music that draws from the Sufi register, and presentations of works that have marked the event. Ramadan evenings are also punctuated by poetry recitals which have a good press, in addition to visual arts exhibitions which highlight artists who have marked Doukkali art or others who are making their way, as well as conferences that deal with different themes. Everything is programmed with the aim of highlighting the talent of many Doukkali artists and groups and discovering others coming from elsewhere, or even highlighting writers or poets whose works are already known to the public, or on the contrary to be discovered for the first time.
