The 3rd edition of the African Football Agents Conference (AFAC 2025) will be held from 28 to 30 April in Rabat.
Organised by the Association of African Football Agents (AFAA) in partnership with the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), and with the support and participation of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), this event will mark, in its 3rd edition, "a strategic turning point for the football agent profession on the continent", indicates a press release from the organisers.
According to the same source, AFAC 2025 will bring together major figures in world football, political decision-makers, representatives of international sports institutions, as well as experts in innovation and digitalisation of the sector.
For the organisers, Morocco was a natural choice to host this conference given that the Kingdom, bolstered by an ambitious strategy focused on the modernisation of sports infrastructure, talent training, and sports diplomacy, is positioning itself today as a central player in the development of football in Africa.
"Host country of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and co-organiser of the 2030 World Cup with Spain and Portugal, the Kingdom represents an ideal setting for this pan-African conference", it is highlighted.
The conference will be structured around three days punctuated by panels, keynotes, and workshops led by international experts.
The themes addressed will focus on "the role of political decision-makers in structuring a sustainable ecosystem", "the rise of FIFA-licensed agents", "the digitalisation of African football as a lever for innovation and inclusion", and "the development of women's football, between challenges and opportunities on a global scale".
The final day will be devoted to issues of governance and ethics, with a focus on issues such as the recruitment and representation of minors and the fight against human trafficking in sport.
