We are in the Berrechid region. This young man takes his moped this Sunday, 20 January, around 10 am, and takes the road from Ouled Abbou to Boulaouane. About ten minutes later, he notices from afar a human body lying on the road. Is it a victim of a merciless hit-and-run driver? To be sure, he stops his moped right next to the body and gets off. But looking at the body, he is horrified. There was reason to be: he had before him the corpse of a young man with hands and legs cut off and, moreover, charred. Faced with this sad spectacle, he begins to shout and call like a hysteric to the motorists passing by. Some of them stop and join him. One of them alerts the gendarmes who rush to the scene. They immediately begin the investigation by combing the area to find a clue allowing them to solve this crime. In the meantime, the victim has been identified. It is a young father.

Six days later, two members of the "éperviers" brigade stop two young men with a moped without papers. The two people were taken to the police station. After verification of their identity, they were released while keeping the moped while waiting for them to bring the papers. Three days pass without them giving any sign of life. By pure chance, one of the investigators notices at the pound that this moped bears the same descriptions given by the deceased's wife. The investigations this time target the two young men. One of them was arrested. He is indeed the author of the crime of murder doubled by cutting up of the body and calcination. The accused claims to the investigators that he was the right-hand man of the victim who was a kif trafficker in the Berrechid region. They were getting drunk when the victim started calling him a loser, a thief and a cheat before assaulting him.

Since then, the accused decided to take revenge. And on Sunday night, he acted during a drinking session. He struck him two blows with a stick. When the victim passed away, he cut off his lower and upper limbs and burned the corpse.
