H.M. the King chairs a Council of Ministers in Oujda

H.M. King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, chaired, Sunday in Oujda, at the headquarters of the wilaya, a Council of Ministers, indicates a statement from the Royal Cabinet. At the beginning of the Council's work, the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government, in charge of the Civil Service and the Modernization of the Administration, presented to the Council a report on the legal effect resulting from the decision of the Constitutional Council No. 854-12 of June 3, 2012, concerning the organic law No. 02-12 relating to appointments to high positions, in application of articles 49 and 92 of the Constitution, which consists of making the provisions of articles 2 and 3 of the aforementioned organic law compliant with the Constitution, by removing the procedure for approving appointments and replacing it with the principle of appointment.

Subsequently, the Council of Ministers approved 12 multilateral international conventions within the framework of the Kingdom's desire to comply with its international commitments regarding the protection of intellectual and industrial property, the protection of the workforce, social security, and the preservation of the environment. The Council also approved three bilateral conventions relating to cultural cooperation with the Republic of Peru, road transport with Turkey, and air transport with Gambia.
