In this interview, Imane Sabir, President of the Provincial Tourism Council (CPT) of Ouarzazate, reviews the situation of the destination as well as the prospects for its development, particularly in terms of connectivity and improvement of the entertainment offer. She also discusses the development paths capable of putting an end to the seasonal nature of the activity which continues to hinder the realisation of the city's full potential.
Since 2018, and due to both structural and cyclical factors, notably the Covid-19 pandemic, the tourism sector has been struggling to take off in Ouarzazate.
