Air transport is on the rise

The number of passengers on domestic flights provided by the national company Royal Air Maroc (RAM) for Ouarzazate reached 3,050 during last August, an increase of 55% compared to the same period of the previous year. This evolution is a consequence of the implementation of the Convention relating to the strengthening of air service between Casablanca and Ouarzazate, with a view to increasing it to seven weekly flights, specifies the Provincial Tourism Council (CPT). It is necessary to recall, in this regard, that the fare charged for the flights subject to the said convention is 1,200 dirhams round trip between Casablanca and Ouarzazate.
