Open days at the ISMC in Ouarzazate

"Professional training of excellence at the service of the 7th art" is the theme of the open days recently organised by the Specialised Institute for Cinema Professions (ISMC) in Ouarzazate, under the Office for Vocational Training and Employment Promotion (OFPPT). These open days aimed to promote the opening of this institute to its socio-economic environment, as well as to allow its trainees to practically apply the skills acquired within this establishment. It is also an opportunity for them to showcase their technical, aesthetic, cultural and artistic talents in the field of the 7th art. In a statement to MAP, the director of the ISMC in Ouarzazate, Ahmed Ait Azdi, indicated that these open days also constitute an opportunity to make the various training courses provided by this only institute of its kind in Morocco known to pupils and students from other Moroccan cities. Created in 2006, the Specialised Institute for Cinema Professions in Ouarzazate is the result of a partnership between the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity and the Office for Vocational Training and Employment Promotion (OFPPT). Hosting 200 trainees supervised by 23 professors, the institute provides, over two years, professional training for technicians and specialised technicians. The training is both technical and artistic.
