"Made In Morocco" is the theme of the 3rd edition of the National Handicrafts Meeting, which will take place from 2 to 19 May in Ouarzazate, initiated by the Ouarzazate Professional Handicrafts Federation.
According to a statement from the Federation, this meeting aims to market the region's artisanal products and exchange expertise between the various participants and exhibitors.
The event also aims to present and raise awareness of the ancestral cultural heritage of the Kingdom's different regions, to promote the know-how and creativity of Moroccan artisans, and to create economic and cultural momentum in the city.
Set up in the Al Mouahidine Square, in the heart of the city, the stands will showcase a variety of products from artisans coming particularly from Ouarzazate and other towns in south-east Morocco.
This edition also includes conferences and workshops on several themes, competitions, and training sessions for the benefit of artisans, exhibitors, and participating associations and cooperatives.
The event will also be marked by a traditional costume fashion show, a blood donation campaign, and artistic evenings.
