Priority to the fight against poverty
Several development projects have been launched across the various communes of the Moulay Yacoub province over the last two years to improve the living conditions of its inhabitants.
Upgrading infrastructure and fighting poverty and social exclusion remain at the top of the priorities for the Moulay Yacoub province to improve the lives of the local population. A total of 439 development projects were scheduled for the province for the years 2011 and 2012 with a total cost of 4,748,283,006.58 DH. These projects were presented to Mohamed Moudden Al Alami, governor of the Moulay Yacoub province, on 27 July during a ceremony celebrating the Feast of the Throne. Carried out by the Moulay Yacoub province (231 projects), the Fès-Boulemane regional council (22), the province's communes (44), and decentralized services (142), these projects relate to the creation of income-generating activities, the upgrading of basic equipment and infrastructure, as well as the construction of social and sports complexes.
