Upgrading of training centres

The Forum of Associate Professors of Morocco opens the debate during a symposium organised on 25 May in Meknès, on the regional centres for education and training, their upgrading, the difficulties and the expectations.
Upgrading of training centres

It is on the theme "The challenges of training at the regional centres for education and training professions" that the Forum of Associate Professors is leading the debates of a symposium organised on 25 May in Meknès.

According to the organisers, it is a question during this meeting of recalling the context of upgrading training centres to meet expectations in the matter and the call for the improvement of the quality of teachers enrolled in various programmes launched by the supervisory ministry, notably the National Charter for Education and Training of 1999, the 2005 reform, the report of the Supreme Council for Education in 2008 and the 2009-2012 Emergency Plan. And they indicate that, after the recruitment of a certain number of trainers at the level of these centres and the creation of a dynamic for the professionalisation of educators and trainers, among other actions, it is today urgent that the efforts made in this direction meet expectations and that there be the human resources, the necessary skills, the pedagogical supports, as well as the adequate organisation to succeed, on the ground, in the upgrading of these regional centres for education and training, the renewal of the school and beyond the reform of the educational system.

The objective of this meeting is ultimately to open a constructive and transparent debate on these various questions relating to the educational system and the quality of both the teacher and the teaching.
