The Masters and PhD Fair comes to Marrakech

The Masters and PhD Fair was held on 11 March in Marrakech, at the initiative of the French Agency for the promotion of higher education, international student services, and international mobility, globally known as "Campus France". Organised for the first time in Morocco, this event, which took place at the French Institute of Marrakech (IFM), aims in particular to provide information on orientation, reorientation, and further study opportunities. It was aimed more specifically at Moroccan students with a Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) to Master's degree (Bac+5) or those already holding a Master's degree looking for a Master 1, Master 2, Specialised Master (MS), or MBA in France for the 2015 academic year.

Nearly fifteen French institutions, including universities and private schools, came to Marrakech to meet students and researchers to present their training offers from Bachelor's level up to PhD, understand professional opportunities, and provide individual support for building a study path according to each person's ambitions, personality, and professional project.

The student community thus had the opportunity to discover many fields, including advanced sciences and technologies, engineering sciences, computer science, energy, environmental sciences, life and health sciences, agricultural development, biology, ecophysiology, agroecology, law, political science, commerce, economic sciences, and management. Although dedicated to students, the Fair also received visits from parents in search of a better future for their offspring. They showed in this way that they are ready to pay the price for their children to obtain the precious key that opens the doors to employment.

In their eyes, this enthusiasm for studying abroad is explained by a good number of considerations, including the quality of education, the availability of places, the adequacy of training with the needs of the labour market, and the existence of promising future prospects.
