The Khouribguis miss the boat at home

Once again, the Olympique de Khouribga failed to glean the three points of victory, while hosting the HUSA in front of its public, for the 26th day of the Botola Pro Elite 1.

The Khouribgui eleven once again disappointed its supporters who hoped that the meeting against the HUSA would be decisive for the team's maintenance among the greats. Thus, the match did not live up to its promises and ended in a one-all draw.

The game, which started slowly, never reached the heights. Indeed, the visitors, very organised in defence around goalkeeper Al Ahmadi, managed to neutralise the rare actions of the locals by confining themselves to their zone and settling for counter-attacks led by the only player up front, Laabidi. The Phosphatiers tried to impose their rhythm but ran into a tough opponent, possessing good physical condition, who monopolised all the balls in the middle of the field. Thus, real goal-scoring opportunities were rare on both sides. Only a well-aimed shot from Laabidi (11') forced El Allouch to pull out all the stops to save his goal.

At the restart, the Khouribguis took control of the meeting by accelerating the pace of the match. The unbridled forcing of Rquioui's teammates would bear fruit in the 47th minute, by the said player who received a ball from Talhaoui, in a good position, with a dry strike, leaving no chance to the unfortunate Soussi goalkeeper who followed the leather with his eyes into the net. A minute later, Ouchrif, as if by magic, found himself face to face with the goalkeeper but missed this opportunity lamentably. The visitors would retaliate in the 53rd minute through Agouram who hesitated in front of El Allouch's empty goal. It was only a postponement, since in the 70th minute, the HUSA equalised through Matouli who took advantage of a hesitation in the local defence.

Sahabi proceeded with changes, thus forcing his team to confine itself to defence. At the end of the match, we noted a drop in the physical condition of the local players, which highlights this problem again.

The OCK can consider itself lucky to have finally got off lightly. The next two matches will be decisive for the Phosphatiers who will play the Moghreb of Tétouan at Saniet Rmel next week and will host the AS FAR the week after.
