The job positions created last December in the Khouribga province increased by 64%, having risen to 146 compared to 89 during the same month of the year 2010.
This increase contributed to the rise in employment opportunities, which allowed for the creation of 1,154 positions in 2011, while their number did not exceed 1,103 in 2010, recording an increase of 5%, according to statistics from the provincial delegation of trade and industry of Khouribga.
The building and public works sector is in the lead with nearly 55% of positions created, followed by the services sectors (25%) and trade (20%), while the other positions were created in the industry sector, according to the same sources.
After a period of fluctuations, the employment sector in the Khouribga province experienced, from last August, a notable growth varying from 12 to 156%, except for the month of October, during which the number of positions created showed a decrease of nearly 20%.
For its part, the number of negative certificates issued for the creation of new companies, last December in the Khouribga province, increased by 20%, rising to 42, compared to 35 in December 2010.
However, the number of certificates issued in 2011 did not exceed 342, showing a slight decrease of 6% compared to the year 2010, during which the number of negative certificates amounted to 365.
The negative certificates issued for 2011 mainly concern the building and public works sector (47%), followed by the services sectors (31%) and trade (21%), while the other negative certificates were granted for the creation of industrial companies, according to statistics from the provincial delegation of trade and industry of Khouribga.
The number of negative certificates issued has seen an increase since July 2011, varying from 8 to 88%, noted the delegation, which expects a significant improvement in 2012 in the number of investment projects in the Khouribga province.
