Gas: Predator completes the drilling of MOU-6 in Guercif

Predator Oil & Gas has completed the drilling of the MOU-6 well, in Guercif, at the planned depth of 950 metres. In a note published on 14 October, the company announced that it had crossed an upper layer of 21.2 metres in the targeted formation, compared to 13.2 metres in the neighbouring MOU-3 well, located 600 metres away. A thickness in line with the forecasts established before the work.
Now it is time for testing: a well test is due to start shortly to evaluate this zone and refine the interpretation of the measurements taken at depth. These results will be cross-referenced with data from MOU-1 and MOU-3 in order to update the assessment of the sector's gas potential. Their outcome will guide the next steps in Morocco.
