Since 18 April, the premises of the Errachidia Multidisciplinary Faculty have been the scene of a sit-in. Six temporary staff members, holders of bachelor's degrees, have been protesting morning and evening against what they call an "abusive dismissal" by the administration. "Without notice, the former dean showed us the door, at a time when we were expecting the regularisation of our situation," they declared in a statement released on 6 June. In fact, the six people in question, four women and two men, joined the faculty through ANAPEC to work all week, sometimes even outside regulated hours. They were thus integrated into various departments: library, academic affairs, administration... All in self-denial for a modest salary of 1500 dh paid irregularly. "If we accepted, it is because we took into account the promises given to regularise our situation, given that the faculty is young and needs human resources," the protesters declared.

The presidency of Moulay Ismail University considers, for its part, that the situation of these people is "illegal" and that, as a result, "they have no right to integration and regularisation". Other faculties have found a way out of this administrative problem, but with a social dimension. Indeed, the case of the temporary staff at the Selwan Multidisciplinary Faculty in Nador was settled favourably. Why not apply the same provisions?
