El Jadida Horse Show: show jumping moves up a notch in El Jadida

Opened on Monday by Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, the 17th El Jadida Horse Show closes its doors on Sunday. Placed under the theme "The horse at the service of humanity", the 2026 edition focuses on sporting upscaling and the economic weight of the sector.
The Grand Prix of His Majesty King Mohammed VI for show jumping is changing category. It is being contested this year at the CSI5*-W level, the top of the hierarchy of international show jumping competitions (CSI), and counts towards the World Cup qualifications. The event concludes the Morocco Royal Tour, after the stages in Tetouan and Rabat. A CSI2* competition, which is also moving up a level, is being held in parallel until Sunday. The sought-after influence goes beyond the sporting field alone: the United Arab Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman, and Turkey are among the invited guests of honour.
