The 11th edition of the Mediterranean Festival of Al Hoceima is currently being held with a rich and varied programme combining music and theatre. According to the organisers, this edition, which continues until August 18, will see the participation of stars of Moroccan, Arab, Amazigh and Western song who will have to treat the public to shows on the various stages of the cities of Al Hoceima, Beni Bouayach, Imzouren and Driouch. Thus, festival-goers will be able to attend concerts given by Latifa Raafat, Badr Soultan, Idir, Muslim, Najat Rajoui, Mimoune Rafroua and Hatim Amour, as well as the local orchestra "Rif experience" and a classical Kurdish group.

On the menu for this event are also shows hosted by artists Hamid El Hadri, Cheb Faudil and Abdelmawla, as well as the Mazagan group, in addition to the participation of young artists from Al Hoceima, as part of the encouragement of young artistic talents. On the theatrical side, this meeting will be marked by the presentation of the play "Bricola" at the Moulay El Hassan cultural centre and the organisation of a conference on the theme "the challenges of climate change at the level of the Al Hoceima coastline", and an exhibition of handicraft products. This edition will also see the presentation of two new books, as part of the Book Fair, organised on the sidelines of the festival.
