Commemoration: IRCAM celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Royal Speech of Ajdir

Valorisation: The Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture (IRCAM) launched, on Monday in Rabat, a series of cultural, artistic, and scientific activities in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Royal Speech of Ajdir and the creation of the Institute, under the theme "A quarter of a century of institutionalisation of Amazigh: assessment and perspectives". Organised under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, this commemoration is part of the capitalisation and valorisation of the record of a quarter of a century of achievements in the fields of promoting the Amazigh language and strengthening its institutionalisation, as well as part of the opening of IRCAM to its environment and its contributions, alongside its partners, to the building of a plural cultural Morocco. The programme for the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Royal Speech of Ajdir includes the organisation of artistic and cultural exhibitions, meetings with students, pupils, and the general public, storytelling and writing workshops in Tifinagh, in addition to a ceremony for the presentation of the Amazigh culture prize. On the menu for this event, which continues until October 17, is also the organisation of a round table on the theme "The institutionalisation of Amazigh: assessments and perspectives", as well as an artistic evening in which several Amazigh singing groups will participate.
