Agadir performed well in July
In terms of arrivals, Agadir recorded an increase of 28.18% in July 2015. Over the same period, the capital of the South saw an increase of 7.19% in terms of overnight stays.
The Agadir destination is definitely recovering. After a lacklustre start to the year, the tourism indicators of the capital of the South are gaining momentum. Thus, tourism activity in July 2015 in classified hotel establishments in Agadir recorded notable increases. In terms of arrivals, Agadir recorded an increase of 28.18%, i.e., 83,308 arrivals in July 2015 compared to 64,991 in the same month of 2014.In the same vein, the city saw an increase of 7.19% in terms of overnight stays, i.e., 400,244 in July 2015 compared to 373,397 in July 2014. Also, despite the influence of the month of Ramadan, which took place in the middle of the summer period, the national market positioned itself in first place with an increase of 18,152 arrivals.
