The “Cinema and Migration” Festival comes to Agadir
The 11th edition of the "Cinema and Migration" Festival will be held from 11 to 15 November, with the participation of several Moroccan and foreign actors, artists and directors of different sensibilities, according to the organisers. Placed under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, this event, organised by the Cultural Initiative Association, promises a rich and varied programme of activities and screenings. The jury for the feature film competition will be chaired by Yamina Benguigui, director, producer, former Minister Delegate in charge of La Francophonie and personal representative of the President of the French Republic for La Francophonie. The jury for the official short film competition, the result of a collaboration and partnership with the Ibn Zohr University (UIZ), will be chaired by Salah El Wadie, a Moroccan poet, novelist and human rights activist.
