A number of residents of the Foum El Ansar commune dumped and piled up waste in front of the commune headquarters, in protest against what they described as the deterioration of cleaning services and the suspension of garbage collection for several days.
According to information received by "Al-Yaoum 24", this step came after waste accumulated in several spots, amid the residents' dissatisfaction with the ongoing situation and the potential repercussions on environmental hygiene and public health.
The protesters expressed their dissatisfaction with the management of the cleaning sector in the commune, demanding urgent intervention to restore the regularity of waste collection and put an end to the problems that led to the suspension of this service.
