APM Terminals celebrates World Safety Day

The operator AP Moller Maersk celebrated, last Tuesday at the Tanger Med port, "Global Safety Day" (World Day for Safety and Health at Work), organised across all of the Group's business units. "Safe at work, safe at home" is the theme chosen for this edition. "This day is an opportunity to remind everyone that safety is everyone's business and that it is the result of our joint efforts. Our ambition is to identify the best practices for each terminal in the West-Med zone in order to achieve excellence in safety," declared Javier Lancha, the new Managing Director of APM Terminals Tangier, to the newspaper "Le Matin".Thus, the celebration of this day is part of the Group's global strategy, which places safety at the heart of its concerns in order to guarantee a healthy environment in the workplace and to achieve the "zero accident" objective.
