The Tangier Tourism Directorate is organising the 1st International Tourism Fair "Tanger Tourism Expo 2015" from 21 to 24 October at the Grand Palais des Congrès in Tangier. This event would allow Morocco to welcome dozens of countries coming to exhibit their know-how in the field and their culture. More than 400 stands are planned and more than 250 journalists will accompany exhibitors from Africa and Mediterranean countries. "Tanger Tourism Expo" establishes itself as the fair for all destinations, from the gates of Morocco to the other end of the world.
"Thanks to this first Moroccan tourism fair, we are touching on all the areas that allow professionals to stay informed and be at the forefront of their market news, to train through conferences, to exchange, and to multiply the opportunities to create business opportunities with tour operators from all over the world," affirms the fair's organising committee. More than 8,000 square metres of covered space have been allocated to the organisation of "Tanger Tourism Expo 2015" in order to allow Morocco to optimise the diversity of its offers and its heritage wealth. According to the organisers, this major tourism event is positioned as a junction between all actors in the tourism sector to make the country one of the top travel destinations in the world in order to achieve the objectives set for Vision 2020.
The fair, which will take place over 4 days, will be reserved for professional actors and the press. It will also be an opportunity to combine the event with conferences to allow professionals and experts to meet and exchange their expertise. Private meeting spaces will also be made available to participants for their appointments with international buyers. In parallel, "Tanger Tourism Expo" will offer a cycle of conferences presented in different formats: plenary conferences, thematic conferences, and expert meetings.
