1.17 MMDH generated by the filming of foreign productions in 2014
The Moroccan Cinematographic Centre (CCM) unveiled, last Saturday in Tangier, shortly before the closing of the 16th National Film Festival (FNF), the cinematic balance sheet for the year 2014, which reports a production of 20 films and an amount of 60 million dirhams (MDH) in public aid for the promotion of national film production. Thus, in 2014, 20 Moroccan feature films were produced, while 13 new films were released in cinemas during this period, including “Behind Closed Doors” by Mohamed Ahed Bensouda, “They Are the Dogs” by Hicham Laasri, and “Anger” by Mohamed Zineddaine, indicated the director of the CCM, Sarim Fassi Fihri, on this occasion.
