Tangier: 8.5% decrease in traffic accidents in urban areas
The city of the Strait has just recorded significant progress in terms of road safety. The number of traffic accidents fell in 2013 by 8.5% in all four corners of Tangier. An encouraging assessment for the police, the other departments concerned, as well as civil society actors operating in the field of road safety. It remains that the Tangier residents are called upon to be even more aware of the dangers of the road and to be very careful. Furthermore, the Tangier police prefecture wishes to specify, through this annual report, that the efforts deployed by its traffic services and the development of road infrastructure helped, in 2013, to show a decrease of 1,713 road accidents, compared to 2012.
