The city opposes the transfer of Amendis
The municipal council of Tangier held an extraordinary session last Monday at the City Hall in the presence of 47 elected officials. The session was mainly focused on an important point, namely the approval of the city mayor's decision to oppose the transfer of Amendis to Actis. 32 out of 47 elected officials approved the mayor's decision during this session, which started at 3:30 p.m. and whose proceedings continued until around 11 p.m. Fouad Omary had opened the debates on the concerns of the elected officials who raised the problems of cleanliness, particularly at the level of the cemeteries which are in a lamentable state. The mayor assured that a commission in charge of cemetery control has been in office for more than three months.
