Inauguration of a British university centre
A joint centre of the SIST (Superior Institute of Science and Technology) and the British Council was inaugurated on Sunday in Tangier, adding to the establishments of this institute already installed in Casablanca and Rabat.
A joint centre of the SIST (Superior Institute of Science and Technology) and the British Council was inaugurated on Sunday in Tangier, adding to the establishments of this institute already installed in Casablanca and Rabat. The inauguration ceremony of this establishment, associated notably with the universities of Sunderland and Cardiff Metropolitan, was held in the presence of the British Ambassador to Morocco, Clive Alderton, as well as teaching staff, students, and parents of students. Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Alderton highlighted the quality of British higher education and the growing importance given everywhere in the world to learning the English language, an essential vector for economic, scientific, and cultural exchanges.
