8 million DH to boost sport

The commune plans to increase the budget to support sport by nearly 2 million DH, to reach a total amount of 8 million DH. This was affirmed during a press conference organised on Monday, 15 April, for the presentation of the programming of a study day that will take place on 29 April, around the theme "The urban commune, an essential partner in sports development". According to Hassan Semlali, vice-president of the communal council, "the commune of Tangier provides significant financial support to the sports sector, estimated at 6 million DH. It plans to increase this budget to reach a total of 8 million DH".Furthermore, the activities of this study day will take place at the new Tangier stadium.
