Officers from the Tangier police prefecture dismantled a psychotropic tablet trafficking network on Wednesday evening, arresting the network's ringleader and seizing some 5,000 tablets.According to a police source, this hard drug trafficking network, which operated between Tangier and Casablanca, was dismantled thanks to the arrest of several small-time drug dealers in Casablanca, which led to the identification of their main supplier and his arrest in a café in the Béni Makada district of Tangier.A search of the suspect's home in the same district led to the discovery of this quantity of drugs and the seizure of bladed weapons, mobile phones, and a sum of money, the same source indicated, adding that investigations are ongoing to arrest the other members of this network.
