The Nassaim Andalouse Association of Andalusian music lovers in Tangier is organising the third meeting of Andalusian music lovers in Tangier at the Moulay Hafid Palace from 27 to 29 April. A rich and varied programme will be presented in the evenings during the last three days of April, starting at 8 p.m. This will delight lovers of this art who will flock in large numbers to appreciate the talents of the masters of this art who have come from Fes, Rabat, and Tangier, but also from Algeria and Tunisia. Also joining the festivities will be a flamenco group that will engage in a dialogue with Andalusian music on Saturday 28 April, and a Tunisian troupe that will present a selection of Tarab Maalouf hosted by Tarik Jihad on the first day.

The troupe of Tangier artist Mohamed Laarousi will present, in two sessions, "Mizane kaim wa nisf of the Nouba hijaj Kabîr" and "Mizane kadam of the Nouba ouchak". These two sessions on the evening of the first day will be hosted by a selection of artists and "Madihines" from Morocco, as well as the troupe of the late Larbi M’rabet under the presidency of master Mohamed Laarousi, to whom the organisers will pay a vibrant tribute and who will be honoured for the services he renders to this art. The Algerian troupe will host the second day with a selection of Tarab gharnati performed by the Bachtarjya Kalha group, and the youth troupe from Fes under the presidency of master Mohamed Othmani will close this event with "Mizane btayhi of the Nouba al istihlal".

The morning of the third and final day, Sunday 29 April, will be devoted to the "Nzaha" walk at R’milat with the participation of all artists and guests. The president of the association, master Ahmed Guenoun, pointed out that this edition is different from the first two because it will feature the participation of troupes from Algeria and Tunisia as well as flamenco from Spain: it is "a Maghrebi edition," he said. He concluded: "our goal is to give young people this opportunity to prove their talent in this art".
