National Coast Day brilliantly celebrated
In October 2010, a conference held in Tangier recommended making 21 December the National Coastline Day. Thus, for the first time, the regional directorate of equipment and transport for the Laâyoune-Boujdour-Sakia El-Hamra region, in partnership with the ports directorate, celebrated this day. The commemoration took place in two stages, the first in Tarfaya and the second in Boujdour. The two events, which had the theme "Our coastline, our wealth, let us protect it", took place before a large audience and pupils who came from various schools in both towns.
