She wants to go to the hammam, but without being accompanied by her four-year-old daughter. What is she going to do with her little girl? Finally, she finds the solution. She calls her neighbour and asks her to keep her at her place until she returns. After which, she packs all the necessary items to go there. She arrives there and enters quietly.

We are in the rural commune of Ouled Hamdane, caidate of Ouled Frej, province of El Jadida. Our mother of the family washes, talks with the women. In short, she worries about nothing. Her husband is at his job and her little girl is at her neighbour's.

Full of joy, she leaves the hammam. But as she approaches her home, she notices from afar a few onlookers who are gathering at the entrance of her home. Are they waiting for her? Why? She has no idea. Quickly, she throws down the buckets and asks for explanations.

Everyone scrutinises her without saying a single word. But, a woman takes the initiative and confides the bad surprise to her. She explains to her that her little girl was found dead in a barrel filled with water! If everything is over for the inhabitants of the douar by burying the deceased, nothing is finished for the two grieving parents. The latter have doubts about the death of their only daughter.

A doubt that was concretised by the filing of a complaint with the Royal Gendarmerie of El Jadida. An investigation was launched and it is the neighbour who was pointed out. She was subjected to interrogations. And it is the bad surprise. The girl's death was not natural. The neighbour explained to the investigators that while she was busy in the kitchen, the little girl was playing at the entrance of the home. All of a sudden, a herd of cows passed by quickly.

Fearing that the girl might be trampled by the herd, the neighbour pushed her violently. Unfortunately, the girl fell to the ground and immediately lost consciousness. A few seconds later, she passed away. To camouflage her crime, albeit accidental, she put the girl's body in a barrel filled with water.

The neighbour was arrested as well as the authority agent who issued the burial authorisation.
