Sita El Beïda plans to collect more than 80,000 tonnes of household waste

Mohammedia has just acquired 260 additional rubbish bins, including 100 of large capacity to preserve the aesthetics of the city. According to Roger Vincent, operations director of Sita-El Beïda Mohammedia, the company delegated for the collection of domestic waste, a budget of 350,000 dirhams was reserved for this operation which aims to increase the capacity of the containers and thus avoid the gathering and overflowing of the bins. Furthermore, the fleet has been reinforced, in accordance with the agreement established between the urban commune and Sita El Beïda. Two new-generation trucks have been operational since November 2013 to improve the availability and reliability of the vehicles.
